(AP) — Wander Franco’s seven-day stay on the restricted list is scheduled to end ahead of Tampa Bay’s homestand opener against Colorado on Tuesday night, leading to the possibility it could be extended or he could be placed on administrative leave under the sport’s domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse policy.The 22-year-old All-Star shortstop was placed on the restricted list for a week on Aug. 14 while MLB launched an investigation following social media posts suggesting Franco was in a relationship with a minor. PARKER, Colo. (KDVR) — The Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued a Medina Alert on Monday evening for a driver who struck a pedestrian in Parker. Investigators said the driver had allegedly been shoplifting at the Walmart on South Parker Road and fled the scene.Witnesses said the driver ran a red light at Parker Road and Lincoln Avenue, which is when they struck a pedestrian who was in a designated walkway. Polis signs executive order on housing The driver did not stop and continued north on Parker Road.Police are looking for a white 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The car has a Colorado license plate: AWR-S39. DENVER (KDVR) — On Tuesday, registration for the 2024 Denver Colfax Marathon officially opened, and the race is expected to have over 20,000 participants. The first people to sign up receive a discount, while the last ones may not even get a spot.For the past 17 years in May, thousands of participants filled the streets of downtown Denver to run during the city's only marathon weekend.
