Two people were shot dead and two others injured in a stabbing in Fairfax County, Virginia, on Monday afternoon.The Fairfax County Police Department tweeted that officers were responding to a shooting and stabbing in the 2200 block of Pimmit Run Lane, near Falls Church, around 4 p.m. Monday.Two victims were struck and killed by gunfire, according to police. Two others suffered non-life threatening stab wounds.Several suspects were seen running from an apartment, the department added.Members of the public are asked to avoid the area due to an ongoing police investigation. DENVER (KDVR)-- Denver Police Department is looking into a crash involving two motorists at Speer Boulevard and 32nd Avenue late Monday afternoon.According to DPD, one person was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. A fuel tanker overturned on a busy Fort Lauderdale highway and led to road closures, Monday. Around 9 a.m., the semi-truck crashed on Interstate 595, near Interstate 95, and landed on the median of the east and west lanes of the highway.https://twitter.com/browardsheriff/status/1663187378977091584According to FHP, a vehicle and the fuel tanker were both traveling in the westbound lanes. At one point, a sideswipe occurred and the tanker veered into the grass median and overturned. Authorities are offloading 9,000 gallons of gas into a second trailer. The process is expected to last several hours. As a result of the incident, both directions of I-595 were shut down but have since reopened.
