LOUIS - Investigators with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a man suspected of a child sex crime in a south city neighborhood.According to Sgt. Charles Wall, a police spokesman, the crime occurred July 23 in the St. Louis Hills neighborhood. Police did not provide a more specific hundred block. WOOD RIVER, Ill. - An Alton, Illinois, man has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a Wood River man earlier this week.According to Wood River Police Chief Brad Wells, the shooting happened shortly before 4:10 a.m. Monday in the 800 block of Tennyson Street.Police arrived at a single-family residence and found a man who lived there had been shot.
